눅13:18-21
천국의 비유를 겨자씨와 누룩으로 설명하고 있다.
겨자씨
겨자씨는 손 끝에 놓으면 거의 보이지 않을 만큼 작은 씨앗이다.
겨자씨는 작다라는 상징이었다. 그런데 이 작은 씨앗이 땅에 심기면 놀라운 일이 나타난다.
높고 커다란 나무로 자라나 그곳에 많은 새들이 쉴수 있을 만큼 자라나게 된다.
하나님의 나라가 처음에는 미약하고 보잘 것 없어 보일지라도 결국에는 놀라운 생명력과 영향력을 가진 존재로 자란다는 말씀입니다.
a. 아브라함
창12:1(1여호와께서 아브람에게 이르시되 너는 너의 본토 친척 아비 집을 떠나 내가 네게 지시할 땅으로 가라 2내가 너로 큰 민족을 이루고 네게 복을 주어 네 이름을 창대케 하리니 너는 복의 근원이 될찌라 3너를 축복하는 자에게는 내가 복을 내리고 너를 저주하는 자에게는 내가 저주하리니 땅의 모든 족속이 너를 인하여 복을 얻을 것이니라 하신지라)
아브라함이 아비집을 떠날때에 조카 롯과 함께 갔다. 하나님의 지시하실 땅으로 가는데 집을 운반해서 가는 것도 아니고 땅을 들고 갈 수 도 없는 빈손이었다. 나그네와 이방인처럼 길을 나섰다.
그런데 하나님은 큰 민족을 이루고 복을 주어 창대케 하며 복의 근원이 될찌라고 말씀하신다. 아브라함이 집을 떠날 때는 겨자씨와 같다.
미약하고 보잘것없고 나타낼 것도 없었다. 그런데 아브라함으로 세상에서 가장 큰 나무가 심겨졌다. 믿음의 조상 아브라함으로 말미암아 하나님의 백성들이 그 나무에서 영육간에 안식,평안,축복을 누리고 있다.
고전1:26~29(형제들아 너희를 부르심을 보라 육체를 따라 지혜로운 자가 많지 아니하며 능한 자가 많지 아니하며 문벌 좋은 자가 많지 아니하도다
27 그러나 하나님께서 세상의 미련한 것들을 택하사 지혜 있는 자들을 부끄럽게 하려 하시고 세상의 약한 것들을 택하사 강한 것들을 부끄럽게 하려 하시며
28 하나님께서 세상의 천한 것들과 멸시 받는 것들과 없는 것들을 택하사 있는 것들을 폐하려 하시나니29 이는 아무 육체도 하나님 앞에서 자랑하지 못하게 하려 하심이라)
우리 교회는 비즈니스 크게 하는 분도 없고, 의사,변호사도 없다.
오레곤에서 가장 약한 교회인 것 같다. 마치 겨자씨와 같은 교회이다.
미약하고 보잘 것 없고, 나타낼 것 없고, 자랑할 것 없는 교회이다.
그러나 겨자씨가 많은 새들이 찾아와 쉴 수 있는 쉼터처럼 되는 길이 있다.
그러나 아브라함의 하나님이 우리와 함께 하신다. 소망교회를 통하여 커다란 하나님의 나라가 확장되어 많은 영혼이 찾아와 평안과 축복을 누리게 될줄 믿는다.
겨자씨에서 커다란 나무로 자라나는 길은?
요12:24(내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 한 알의 밀이 땅에 떨어져 죽지 아니하면 한 알 그대로 있고 죽으면 많은 열매를 맺느니라)
겨자씨가 땅에 심겨져 죽지 아니하면 그대로 미약하고 보잘 것 없는 씨앗에 불과하다. 그러나 땅에 심겨져 썩어 죽어야 그안에서 새싹이 나고 줄기가 자라 커다란 나무로 자라나는 것이다.
믿는다는 것은? 땅에 심겨져 죽는 것이다. 희생과 헌신과 충성이다.
2. 누룩의 비유
모든 음식에는 세균, 박테리아, 곰팡이가 있다. 세균중에도 좋은 균과 나쁜균이 있는데 좋은 균을 만들면 사람이 더 건강하게 되고 질병도 치료된다.
된장,김치등을 만들 때 좋은 균들이 만들게 되어 좋은 음식이 된다.
좋은 균을 만들 때 발효라는 것이다.
누룩은 좋은 균을 만드는 재료인데 쌀가루를 물에 반죽하고 짚에 곰팡이가 나도록 한다. 좋은 곰팡이이다.
누룩은 곰팡이,바이러스이다. 단지 사람에게 유익하게 하는 곰팡이이다.
누룩은 볼품도 없고, 화려하지도 않고 특별하지 않다.
그런데 누룩이 밀가루에 섞이면 전부 부풀게 하여 빵을 만들고 맛있는 음식을 만드는 역할을 한다.
아무것도 아니지만 사람과 세상에 섞이면 엄청난 변화가 나타난다.
한사람의 역할이 중요합니다.
하나가 되고 단합이 되게 하라
누룩이 들어가게 되면 밀가루 전부 부풀게 된다.
(롬 8:28)우리가 알거니와 하나님을 사랑하는 자 곧 그 뜻대로 부르심을 입은 자들에게는 모든 것이 협력하여 선을 이루느니라

Luke 13:18-21
The parable of the kingdom of heaven is explained with the mustard seed and yeast.
1. Mustard seed
A mustard seed is so small that it is almost invisible when placed on the tip of the hand.
A mustard seed symbolizes smallness. However, when this small seed is planted in the ground, something amazing happens.
It grows into a tall and large tree, and it grows to a size where many birds can rest.
It means that although the kingdom of God may seem weak and insignificant at first, it eventually grows into an entity with amazing vitality and influence.
a. Abraham
Genesis 12:1 (1Now the LORD said to Abram, 'Get out of your country and from your relatives and from your father's house to the land that I will show you. 2I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great; and you will be a blessing. 3I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.')
When Abraham left his father's house, he went with his nephew Lot. He was empty-handed, unable to carry a house or land, going to the land that God would show him. He set out like a stranger and a foreigner.
But God said that he would make him a great nation, bless him, and make him great, and that he would be a blessing. When Abraham left home, he was like a mustard seed.
He was weak, insignificant, and had nothing to show for himself. But through Abraham, the greatest tree in the world was planted. Through Abraham, the father of faith, God's people are enjoying spiritual and physical rest, peace, and blessings in that tree.
1 Corinthians 1:26-29 (For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong;
28 God chose the lowly things of the world and the despised, the things that are not, to nullify the things that are,29 so that no one might boast before God.)
There are no big business people in our church, no doctors, no lawyers.
It seems to be the weakest church in Oregon. It is like a mustard seed church.
It is a weak, insignificant, unpresentable, and unproud church. However, there is a way for the mustard seed to become a shelter where many birds can come and rest.
However, the God of Abraham is with us. I believe that the great kingdom of God will expand through the Somang Church, and many souls will come and enjoy peace and blessings.
What is the way for a mustard seed to grow into a large tree?
John 12:24 (Very truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.)
Unless a mustard seed is planted in the ground and dies, it remains just a weak and worthless seed. However, it must be planted in the ground and rot and die before it sprouts and grows into a large tree.
What does it mean to believe? It means being planted in the ground and dying. It is sacrifice, devotion, and loyalty.
2. The Parable of the Leaven
All foods contain germs, bacteria, and mold. Among germs, there are good germs and bad germs. If good germs are created, people become healthier and diseases are cured. When making soybean paste, kimchi, etc., good bacteria are created, making good food.
Fermentation is when good bacteria are created.
Yeast is an ingredient that creates good bacteria. It is made by mixing rice flour with water and letting mold grow on straw. It is good mold.
Yeast is a mold, a virus. It is just a mold that is beneficial to people.
Yeast is not pretty, fancy, or special.
However, when yeast is mixed with flour, it makes everything rise, making bread and delicious food.
It is nothing, but when it is mixed with people and the world, a tremendous change occurs.
The role of one person is important.
1. Become one and united.
When yeast is added, all the flour rises. (Romans 8:28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
